How to file a claim?

• If a burglary or theft has occurred, contact local law enforcement officials immediately
• Notify your insurance agent of the loss as soon as possible. Many policies have a stated time limit for filing claims - check your policy for a toll-free number if after hours or on weekends
• Do not discuss your claim with anyone other than the police, your agent or the agency representatives. This is especially important in a liability case where you could unwittingly waive your legal rights or unknowingly accept responsibility
• Complete the Accident Form (if applicable to an auto accident)
